Administration Biographies
Rick Martin
Rick has been involved in the drum corps activity for the past 34 years serving as a marching member, instructor, and in
administrative roles. His previous experience includes marching as a soprano player with the Rhode Island Picadors, North
Star (Massachusetts), Rhode Island Matadors, and The Brigadiers. He has also served on the brass staff for Alliance (Massachusetts),
as well as with the Rhode Island Matadors.
In 2006, Rick became Director of The Brigadiers, and in 2007, was named President and Chairman of the Board of the Brigadiers Music
Association, the corporate sponsor of The Brigadiers Drum and Bugle Corps. Prior to becoming Corps Director, Rick served as the corps'
Business Manager, and has also provided consultation on business matters to several junior corps. Rick currently resides in New Hampshire
where he is an owner and Vice President of Business Development for ARC Technology Solutions, a leading supplier of engineering solutions
to the federal government and industry.

April Min
April has been associated with The Brigadiers since 2002, when she joined the corps as a member of the
mellophone section. She has since served the corps in various roles including drum major and visual
technician. In 2006, April accepted a position on the Board of Directors of the Brigadiers Music Association
and also became the Director of Public Relations for The Brigadiers, positions she maintains for the 2008 season.
April also continues to perform with the corps as a marching member in the mellophone section.
April began her drum corps career with the Westshoremen Drum and Bugle Corps from Harrisburg, Pennsylvania,
where she was a member of the lead soprano section and later, drum major and a member of the brass staff. April also
served in the United States Marine Corps, performing as a member of the world-renowned United States Marine Drum and
Bugle Corps, "The Commandant's Own," stationed at Marine Barracks 8th & I in Washington, DC. Other marching and
instructional experience includes four years as a member of "The Pride of West Virginia," the West Virginia University
Mountaineer Marching Band, where she was named Section Leader of the Year in 1988 and was a brass and marching instructor
in 1994-95. April has also taught numerous high school marching bands in West Virginia and Pennsylvania.
April holds a Bachelor's degree in Music from West Virginia University and a Doctor of Jurisprudence from the West
Virginia University College of Law. She is currently a member in the oldest and largest law firm in West Virginia,
Jackson Kelly PLLC, where she is litigator representing clients in various civil and criminal cases.
