The Brigadiers' New Horn Sponsor Program

In 2007, The Brigadiers Drum and Bugle Corps underwent a restructuring of its support organization. Amongst the many efforts undertaken by the corps' new parent organization, The Brigadiers Music Association, is the commitment to provide the best available equipment for The Brigadiers. This is a very necessary endeavor that will assist our growth as a performance ensemble. As can expected, it is also an expensive effort. Given the wonderful history of support from our Brigadier family, fans and others, we have developed a program to fund the purchase of a new set of multi-key brass instruments in which we hope you will be able to participate.

This program is designed to pay for our new brass instruments within three years. We are requesting participants commit to a three-year contribution of $100 each year. To recognize each participant, a plaque with the names of four participants will be attached to each horn case. Any business, individual or other organization who contributes 10 shares ($1000) each year will be recognized for their contribution by having their name and/or corporate logo displayed on the corps' tractor-trailer - a vehicle that travels with the corps throughout New York and the East Coast and is an excellent advertising medium. We will also dedicate a page on the corps' website to recognize and promote your organization.

This is an ambitious program, which will have a huge and positive benefit to The Brigs. Your participation will allow the Corps to move successfully and permanently into the future and help us maintain our position as a leader and innovator of the all-age drum and bugle corps activity.

Our goal is to have 250 contributors committed and the first years' funds provided by October 1, 2007. This can be done, and must be done, to guarantee the delivery of our new horns for our first camp in November. All are welcome to come visit the horn that you have helped us procure at that first camp!

We cannot overstate the importance of the success of this program. Without your help, the ability of The Brigadiers to move to new multi-key brass instruments for the 2008 season could be in question. Let us unite to prevent that possibility. Please, if you are able, make your commitment now and send your first $100! Since the announcement of this program on Sunday September 2, 2007, numerous individuals have already made their commitment. Please join them today!

Send your commitment and a check or money order in the amount of $100, payable to the Brigadiers Music Association, to:
