Brigadiers Head to Rochester
DCA World Championships – August 31- September 2

Central Square, NY (August 27, 2007) - After a successful outing in Reading, Pennsylvania, The Brigadiers Drum and Bugle Corps will complete their 2007 season at the DCA World Championships in Rochester, New York over the Labor Day weekend, August 31- September 2.

The Brigs head into Championships seeded fourth, and will appear in the Preliminary competition on Saturday, September 1, with a performance time of 7:56 p.m. The corps will begin rehearsals in Rochester on Friday, August 31, starting at 1:00 p.m. All rehearsals for the weekend will be held at East Irondequoit Middle School. With roots dating to 1938, The Brigadiers Drum & Bugle Corps was reorganized in 1991 after a nineteen-year absence from competition. The Brigadiers are 5-time Drum Corps Associates World Champions, winning titles in 1997, 1999, 2000, 2001 and 2002, and are the only drum and bugle corps to ever win four consecutive DCA titles.
