The Brigadiers invite you to be a part of what is sure to be an inspiring, rewarding, educational and motivating
experience - otherwise known as the 2008 Brigadiers! The Brigs have a long-standing tradition of fielding one of
the top drum corps in the activity. The Brigs are 5-Time DCA World Champions and have finished as a DCA top ten
finalist every year since 1993.
We are looking for dedicated and talented performers to help make this the best year yet for the Red & Black.
Please join us as we aim to raise the competitive bar once again.
The 2008 Brigs will present "Reflexions: The Music of Samuel R. Hazo." Arranger Wayne Downey will re-imagine
several of Hazo's most stirring compositions, "Sevens," "Echoes," and "Ride," for the modern drum corps,
augmenting them with his own unique compositional skills. Hazo's music is new, fresh, and provocative - with
powerful melodies and memorable impacts that promise to thrill DCA audiences as never before.
In addition, the Brigs are pleased to continue the corps' long-standing promotional agreement with Dynasty USA
with the purchase of a full line of Bb/F brass for the 2008 season. Come to the Open House and try one out for yourself!
2008 looks to be yet another outstanding year for drum corps in Central New York. The Brigadiers offer a
championship-proven design team and instructional staff, with unique opportunities for performers of all ages.
If you desire to be a part of a world class organization with roots in music education, The Brigadiers is the
place for you!

With roots dating to 1938, The Brigadiers Drum & Bugle Corps was reorganized in 1991 after a nineteen-year absence from competition. The Brigadiers are 5-time Drum Corps Associates World Champions, winning titles in 1997, 1999, 2000, 2001 and 2002, and are the only drum and bugle corps to ever win four consecutive DCA titles.
