Brigadiers To Close Out Regular Season in Reading
Central Square, NY (August 23, 2007) -
The Brigadiers Drum and Bugle Corps will travel to Reading, Pennsylvania this weekend for the final competition of DCA's "regular season."
The corps will next appear at the DCA World Championships in Rochester, New York over the Labor Day weekend, concluding the 2007 campaign.
The Brigs will appear this Saturday, August 25, at "Big Sounds in Motion," to be held at
Shirk Stadium on the campus of Albright College
in Reading. The show is scheduled to begin at 7:00 p.m. Reserved seats are sold out, but general admission tickets remain available. In
addition to the competing corps, which include the White Sabers, Hawthorne Caballeros, Rochester Crusaders, The Brigadiers, and the
Reading Buccaneers, the show will also feature a performance by "The Commandant's Own," The United States Marine Drum and Bugle Corps,
from Washington, D.C.
"Big Sounds in Motion" will be the last competition for the competing corps as they head
into the World Championships September 1-2.

With roots dating to 1938, The Brigadiers Drum & Bugle Corps was reorganized in 1991
after a nineteen-year absence from competition. The Brigadiers are 5-time Drum Corps Associates
World Champions, winning titles in 1997, 1999, 2000, 2001 and 2002, and are the only drum and
bugle corps to ever win four consecutive DCA titles.
