Brigadiers To Perform in Syracuse St. Patrick’s Day Parade
East Syracuse, NY (March 10, 2008) -
The Brigadiers Drum and Bugle Corps will kick off its 2008 performance season with an appearance
at the annual Syracuse St. Patrick’s Day Parade. The parade, which is celebrating its 26th year,
steps off at 12:00 p.m., Saturday, March 15, from Clinton Square in downtown Syracuse. The Brigs
are honored to once again conclude the parade and will appear in a featured role at the reviewing
stand, presenting selections from the corps' 2008 repertoire in a standstill performance. More

The Brigadiers are an all-age drum and bugle corps located in the Central New York area. The Corps
participates in field marching and music competitions throughout the summer months, concluding with
the Drum Corps Associates World Championships August 29-31 at Paetec Park in Rochester, New York.

In conjunction with the parade, the Corps will hold its regularly-scheduled rehearsal camp at
East Syracuse-Minoa High School in Minoa, New York, starting at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, March 15,
and continuing from 9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Sunday, March 16. For directions and additional information,

The corps will next rehearse April 12-13, at Altmar-Parish-Williamstown High School in Parish, New York.

With roots dating to 1938, The Brigadiers Drum & Bugle Corps was reorganized in 1991
after a nineteen-year absence from competition. The Brigadiers are 5-time Drum Corps Associates
World Champions, winning titles in 1997, 1999, 2000, 2001 and 2002, and are the only drum and
bugle corps to ever win four consecutive DCA titles.
